Press-On Lash Extensions Australia: The Complete Guide | Meraki

Press On DIY Lashes Australia

The Complete Guide To
Press On DIY Lashes.

If you have never done your own lashes before, start here. Press On lashes are my easiest DIY system because the adhesive is already on each cluster. No separate Bond step. No guessing how much glue to use.

I made them for women who still love the look of lash extensions but want something they can do at home, on their own time, without another salon appointment in the diary.

What They Actually Are

Not A Strip Lash.
Not Salon Extensions.

Meraki Press On Lashes are small underlash clusters with adhesive already applied to the base of each cluster. You place them underneath your natural lashes to create a seamless lash extension look at home.

Because the adhesive is already on the cluster, there is no separate Bond + Seal application step. That makes Press On the system I usually point complete beginners towards when they want the fewest possible steps.

THE SIMPLE VERSION Pick Up. Place. Press.

That is the Press On application.

What A Press On Tray
Looks Like.

These are individual clusters, not one full band. You build the set across your eye using the lengths and style you like.

Why Press On Exists

For Women Who Want Lashes.
Without The Appointment.

01

Fewer Steps

The adhesive is already on each cluster, so there is no separate Bond application.

02

Your Own Time

Do them at home when it suits you instead of trying to fit another appointment into the week.

03

Change Your Look

Go softer, fluffier or fuller when you apply your next fresh set.

04

Beginner Friendly

Your first set may take longer. Then your hands learn what to do and it gets much easier.

How To Apply Press On Lashes

Your First Set,
Properly Explained.

01

Prep Your Natural Lashes

Start with clean, completely dry natural lashes. Avoid oily skincare or makeup around the lash line before application.

02

Plan Your Lash Map

Choose the lengths you want across the eye before you start. If you are new, keep it simple and follow the tray layout.

03

Lift One Cluster

Use your applicator to gently pick the cluster up from the tray without dragging or crushing the base.

04

Place Underneath

Position the cluster underneath your natural lashes, slightly above the waterline. It should not sit directly on skin or on the waterline.

05

Build Across The Eye

Continue placing clusters until you are happy with the shape. A slight overlap is fine, but you do not need to heavily overlap them.

06

Fuse Gently

Gently press your natural lashes and the cluster together with the applicator. Controlled pressure is enough. Do not squeeze as hard as you possibly can.

Then leave them alone for a bit.

Avoid water and steam for around 2 hours after application. After that, be gentle around the eye area and avoid rubbing or pulling the clusters.

Choosing A Style

Harper Or Lila?
See The Difference.

Style names are much easier to understand when you can actually see them on the eye.

Press On vs Bond + Seal

Which One Should
You Choose?

I sell both because they do different jobs. You are not choosing a good system versus a bad system. You are choosing which application suits you better.

PRESS ON

I want fewer steps.

Preglued clusters. Pick up, place underneath and gently fuse.

BOND + SEAL

I want more control.

You apply the Bond yourself, then place your clusters and finish with Seal.

Removal Is Part Of The Routine

Never Just
Pull Them Off.

Use Meraki DIY Lash Remover and allow it to soften the adhesive before gently sliding the clusters away.

If they are not releasing easily, add more remover and wait. Do not pick, peel or force attached clusters away from your natural lashes.

A Few Things I Want You To Know

Press On
FAQs.

Do I need lash glue or Bond + Seal?+

No. The adhesive is already applied to each Press On cluster, so there is no separate Bond + Seal application step.

Are these a strip lash?+

No. They are individual underlash clusters. You apply several clusters across each eye to build your set.

How long do Press On lashes last?+

Wear varies depending on application, aftercare, skin type and lifestyle. They are designed for multi day wear when applied and cared for properly.

Can complete beginners use them?+

Yes. Press On is the Meraki DIY system I recommend when someone wants the fewest possible application steps. Give yourself a little extra time for your first set while you learn placement.

Where should I place the clusters?+

Underneath your natural lashes, slightly above the waterline. Do not place the adhesive band directly on the waterline or skin.

Can I get them wet straight away?+

Avoid water and steam for around 2 hours after application so the set has time to settle.

How do I remove them?+

Use Meraki DIY Lash Remover, allow the adhesive to soften and gently slide the clusters away. Never pull or peel attached clusters off dry.
